The golf course started life within the grounds of the former Barnehurst Manor. The clubhouse, which was rebuilt after a fire in the 60’s was beginning to look tired and dreary and badly in need of refurbishment. The refurbished golf clubhouse now includes facilities which can accommodate up to 350 people within four function rooms with all of the associated support facilities such as kitchens, bars, and reception areas. The car parks were also refurbished and enlarged at the same time, along with landscaping and patio areas. The car parks are set within an existing woodland and therefore layouts had to respect existing rights of way and preserve existing trees and planting.
