Architecture Limited were engaged to transform and extend this unusually proportioned four storey mid-terraced property in the conservation area of Greenwich. Although the property boasts a wide and imposing frontage, the internal arrangement is only one room deep with a small rear courtyard. The property posed a design challenge to maximise available space over a series of complex levels. In addition to the internal refurbishment works, it is propsed to extend the property into the rear courtyard, providing greater floor space in the living and dining areas at ground floor level and new bathroom facilities at first floor. A reconfiguration of internal space at first floor level provides an additional bedroom, enhancing the property value.
