We were approached by Lakeside Diving Centre to prepare proposals for a Diving Centre/School to be located in a large new leisure and commercial develpment to be constructed on a reclaimed peninsular on the Western Seaboard of La Línea in Spain The Centre is located alongside a new marina and provides administrative, training and technical accommodation along with retail, cafe/bar and changing facilities. The building is organised with retail, technical and changing facilities at ground floor level with easy access to and from the boats with flexible classroom accommodation and cafe/bar at first floor level with access to a shaded roof terrace. Areas of glass to the public facilities allow views out over the marina and the bay and are shaded by the overhanging planes of the roofs.
