| Architecture Limited were
asked by the owners of this farmhouse to investigate
the possibility of extending the house to
provide additional work space for the family
business, while also providing facilities
for the family such as a swimming pool and
children’s play room. The challenging
brief had to balance the growing needs of
the family with the restricted development
within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. |

| After investigating several
schemes it was decided that the preferred
option was to demolish the existing triple
garage and replace it with a new 2 storey
extension which would house the new accommodation
block and workroom. Beyond this we proposed
a new pool, gym and garage set into the hillside
of the existing landscape. |
