Amongst recently completed projects, Grovewell's new Canterbury Garden Centre opened for business on Good Friday, to higher than expected trading. The second project we have done for Grovewell (the other is in Tenterden), Canterbury was built by very close collaboration between Architecture Limited and the other consultants using Grovewells own management team instead of a contractor. Prime Homes' have now rented their 18 new flats in Longley Road, Tooting (opposite the Scotch comic Sir Harry Lauder's house) and we have a new build block of 9 under way on their site next to the listed Streatham Pumping Station. In the meantime we have completed many private client projects on listed buildings and in conservation areas.

We have now started work on our four-year framework agreement with Southwark Council, with projects at Kenyon House and Kennington Park House about to go out to tender. Lambeth Council's 437 flat Combined Heat and Power scheme at Roupell Park Estate is now close to completion.

Following the untimely death of John Macleod, the Stornoway office is again fully operational under Campbell McKenzie, who joined us from Comhairle nan Eilean (Western Isles Council). Campbell is an accredited conservation architect, so rather naturally, as well as private client jobs we have some very interesting old buildings on the go, of which the 600 year old Northton Chapel in the Isle of Harris is the most advanced. The Stornoway office is now the company's official Registered Office.
