We are involved in the research and development of an experimental development of zero energy houses using materials from sustainable sources and low energy construction techniques, coupled with a sophisticated domestic management system. We are also currently undertaking a project to provide combined heat and power generation at affordable prices to a social housing estate in Brixton. When complete the project will not only satisfy the technical function of providing heat and power for the estate, but will provide an educational resource demonstrating the benefits of combined heat and power along with other sustainable forms of power generation such as wind and solar generated power. Entitled CLEAN ENERGY the project will also demonstrate alternative construction techniques and materials along with energy saving appliances, water saving fittings, recycling and waste reduction.
